I pulled out my batik scrap box and cut up some tiny squares and went to work. I made my granny square and then added the sashing. I added fusible fleece to the back to give it a little body.
I love my new pin cushion. It definitely is an improvement. The next one will have to have a loop to hang it with. I've already pieced out a few more to work with.
Oh and thanks Krista for the help with the iPad photo problem.

You know what would be an awesome pin cushion, a cube! I don't know if you ever got your math fabric, but that would be awesome to make a cube with. I know you love math.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love the tiny granny square. And- How CLEVER to put a loop on it and hang it from you bobbin winder... I've been sewing in some way, shape, or form since I was 6, and I have never seen that. This is now on my To-do list!
