So I have been growing out my hair for a very long time, with plans to donate it when I cut it. Today was the day. Actually, I couldn't take it anymore. It was just too long for me. So I bit the bullet and made the appointment and got it cut today. Just a couple pictures of before and after. She made it look so cute before I left the salon, but having to clean a couple inches of snow off my car when I left made it get wet and curl so at least I know it curls well, haha. She cut off just over 12' of hair that I will be donating. It is my second time sending my hair off to a good cause.

Very cute! Maybe it's selfish, but I can't bear to part with my long hair yet! Someday, but not yet. :)

Oh my gosh! Your hair was very long. I like the new cut though. I like your hair curly instead of straight. I think it is cuter.
ReplyDeleteThe new cut looks awesome! I have been doing the same thing with my hair over the last several years...I always say that I'm not going to let it grow again, but then I do.
ReplyDeleteWOW! My cousins do this, but I've never had the kind of hair that can get that long. My hair is thin and brittle and tends to look awful by the time it gets shoulder length, lol. what a wonderful thing to do for a great cause, your new haircut looks darling, i love how it curled when it got wet!!
