QuiltCon

So I was not lucky enough to attend QuiltCon this year down in Austin, TX, but I did follow along on twitter and instagram.  It looks like a lot of fun and good times were had by all how went.  QuiltCon was the first ever show that I entered quilts into.  My Modern Mini was accepted for the show and I was beyond excited about it.  Well, I have to say, I was so extremely surprised and excited when on Friday it was posted on the Modern Quilt Guild blog the winners of the show.  As I read over the post I saw my name and it said first!  I had to ask Emily if it really said that, I was in shock.

So yay for QuiltCon being a success!  Yay for my first every quilt show that I ever entered a quilt into.  I am really looking forward to QuiltCon 2015!  If you want to take a look at photos of all the winning quilts, Christa at Christa Quilts kindly took pictures to share with all of us who could not make it.  You can find them here, here, and here.
