Two weeks ago was Project Quilting challenge 4,
Wish Upon a Star. Usually I sit and think about the project for a few days before I start, but this week I didn't have to. I immediately was able to focus on what I wanted to do. So off to the stash I went to dig out some perfect fabrics for a baby gender neutral baby quilt. I have a great texty print that is all about baby that I picked up in the sale room of my LQS a while ago. It was perfect for this project.
I used some argyles that I had and a plaid. The back in a fun stripe that I had in my stash, too. (I love stash sewing!). Each block in the quilt measures 5.5", the points for each star were free pieced, no measuring.
The stars are echo quilted, one line being inside the star and the rest going out to the edge of the quilt.
I am linking up with.

Beautiful work and the challenges are fun aren't they! Thanks for sharing.

This is fabulous. I love how the texty print created a faded look that isn't "grey". Great job!
