Weekend Visitors!

This past weekend I had some great visitors come and see me.  One of my besties from college came and she brought her 11 month old little sweetheart with her.  So I was going through my pictures and I can't find any pics of just me and Emily from college : (  But there are plenty of us in group shots from physics club!  Oh Em, you know I have some awesome pictures of you ; )

Em is on the left and I am the crazy short one in the middle
So here is a picture of Emily and Me from the summer of 2010.  We went to Seaside that day and played some games on the boardwalk and in the arcade.  (I still have my bracelet we got int he arcade) So much fun!

Em made her the hat :)
We decided to take a quick drive to Seaside.  I wanted to show Delilah the Jersey Shore and we could check out the rebuilding.  They started driving in the pilings a couple weeks ago.  We played at Lucky Leos in 2010 and it is still there.  Maybe this summer they will come back so Delilah can play in the arcade.

It is amazing at the progress they have made since we were there. I saw a picture today of so many more pilings in and the planks laying ready to start going on.  The goal date for the boardwalk to be completed is May 10.  I believe it is possible... Jersey Strong!

You can still see the roller coaster in the water there.

We did a little fabric shopping while they were here, Delilah helped me pick some fabrics for my mom.   Em and and I stayed up so late just talking and catching up, I really missed her.  We spent so much time together in college.  I wish we lived closer.  But at least I get lots of updates through calls, texts, and her blog.

It was sad to see the weekend end.  I had such a great time with Emily and Delilah.  It was too long since I had seen Emily and it was the first time that I had met Delilah.  I loved all the cuddle time that I got with her.  I hope that my knee gets better soon so I can go and visit her and see her new house.

  1. Awww... I had fun with you! I bet if I dug a little bit, I could find pictures of us from college. I have been out of Lock Haven for 5 years! That one picture goes way back! I can't wait to see you again!
